DECKERMOSS

Being human is a given.
Acting with humanity is a choice.
Who else is up for it?
Hi, I'm. Decker. I'm a professional writer, public speaker, social agitator, and dog lover. I'm also a twin. And I was born female, according to the doctors, at least.
Growing up, I always felt like a boy. But, I looked and sounded identical to my twin sister which I loved in so many ways. For over four decades, I was emotionally torn between these two deeply held identities: my own as male and the one I shared with my female twin. But at age 42, I finally decided to transition to the gender I've always been.
Along the way, I've developed a unique understanding not only of what it means to be transgender, but what it means to be authentically human.
